Rev. Leanne Kerner
Rev. Leanne Kerner is the Associate Minister of Youth and Christian Education at First Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Cookeville.
Leanne is proudly from Paducah, Kentucky. She moved to Tennessee for college and never left.
In 2013 Leanne graduated with a bachelor of science in Human Services with an emphasis in Christian Education from Bethel University. Upon graduating with her bachelors, Leanne attended Memphis Theological seminary where she earned a Masters of Divinity in 2017.
Leanne has a great obsession with the color blue, monograms, and travel. In her spare time, Leanne enjoys baking cakes, reading, and laying in her Eno.
Sandra currently serves as Office Administrator, Pianist, and Co-Music Director for the church, careers she very much enjoys.
She holds an MBA from Tennessee Technological University and a Master of Piano Performance degree from Baylor University.
She is originally from Jamestown, TN and has been a resident of Cookeville for 22 years. Among her hobbies are reading and quilting.
Christy currently serves as the director of the handbell choir and the co-music director at First Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Christy grew up in Lebanon, TN, and graduated from Tennessee Tech with a B.S. in Medical Technology. While she thoroughly enjoyed her profession in the medical field, her passion has always been music. She has been involved in church music since her junior high years serving in several different capacities including pianist/organist, choir and handbell director. In addition to her church involvement, Christy has accompanied numerous other choral ensembles, played for some 30 musical theater productions, and served as executive assistant to a United Methodist evangelist for 12 years while living in Starkville, MS. She and her husband, David, moved to Cookeville in 2004.
